Department of General Education is the teaching unit under the Committee of General Education at TNUA. There are one director, ten full-time professors and fifteen teachers including part-time professors, associate professors, assistant professors and lecturers who belong to different academic and teaching fields in our department. We also have one teaching assistant and one project management assistant to deal with courses, teaching and administrative affairs.
With the vision of holistic education, the Department of General Education offers a curriculum that can broaden intellectual outlook, foster core competences and literacy, and makes arts practitioners lifelong learners. The Department’s curriculum covers five areas: Humanities, Social Science, National Science, Skills and Art literacy. The Department is also expanding its curriculum to offer thematic and interdisciplinary courses.
